Ministry of Praise
The ministry is specially designed for the sick, disabled, senior citizens and the home-bound of the parish. All sick, disabled, the home-bound parishioners and senior citizens of St. Patrick are eligible to be formal ministers of praise. The Ministry of Praise is a spiritual ministry in which ministers offer all of their prayers, joy and sufferings as a sacrifice to God. They are asked to pray daily for the needs of our diocese and the needs of St. Patrick parish.
- To provide for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston a powerhouse of intercessory prayer for its many needs.
- To give Bishop Bransfield an opportunity to communicate directly with the elderly, infirm and home-bound people of the parish and the diocese.
- To provide an opportunity for our sick, disabled, and home-bound parishioners to remain actively involved in ministry.
- To place seminarians and ministers of praise in a partnership of prayer.
